The women that come see are those who are all "talked out", are experiencing ongoing physical symptoms such as gut health issues, chronic migraines, TMJ, muscle tension, burning sensations, heart conditions, shooting pains, etc.; experience anxiety, hypervigilance, dissociation, and/or feel "stuck" in their healing journey. My preferred model of EMDR is the "intensive" model, in which we meet for a longer period of time per session (1.5 - 3 hours per session), for a smaller, total number of sessions.
