About My Clients
If you describe yourself as a "worrier" or are having stress or anxiety related to issues at work, family, relationships, or friendships I support professionals in honing what skills you already have to decrease these anxiety-inducing thoughts and emotions and behave in ways that are better aligned with your future goals.
My Background and Approach
I view my therapeutic role as balancing support and action to gently nudge you into new behavioral patterns that better serve you. I will also help identify what strengths you show up with and how we can build on those to create lasting change. I will help you lean into self-acceptance and compassion to achieve your therapeutic goals. If you are feeling trapped by your worry or anxious thoughts, contact me and set up a consultation. We can explore whether we might be a good match for one another. If out of network cost is a potential barrier, view my website for an insurance calculator to see how much reimbursement you could receive for your out-of-network costs!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe our varying identities impact the way the world interacts with us, and how our mental health symptoms present. It's no wonder why Queer folks face higher rates of depression or anxiety (along with a bunch of other stuff) when we have the world explicitly telling us we don't belong. In our time together in therapy, we can learn to manage what is within our control, and hone in on the strength that comes with being a part of the Queer community.
