About My Clients
It’s an incredibly stressful world out there, and it can be really lonely and scary to do life alone. We’d like to do it on our own, but we are designed to have community. We’re meant to work together, to problem-solve together, and to care for each other. Especially in, times like these connecting with someone is important. Talking to a therapist about your problems can feel difficult, but when we focus on feeling better, it helps!
My Background and Approach
For the past decade I have provided therapy to individuals in hospitals, schools and an outpatient clinic. These experiences allowed me to work with a variety of clients with differing backgrounds. I worked with individuals with: mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and behavioral issues. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Positive Discipline. I also utilize a variety of evidence-based practices in my clinical approach to providing therapy including Parent Child Interaction Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT) and Motivational Interviewing. Regardless of the particular framework I am using, I always create a trusting and safe relationship with each of my clients. I've been told that I am compassionate, relatable, and safe, which has helped me successfully treat individuals. I continue to seek training to improve myself and my skills to better serve my clients.

The therapeutic relationship is of great importance in achieving improved well being. I will come alongside you to offer hope and walk with you in whatever area you are needing support in. Regardless of the particular framework I am using, I always create a trusting and safe relationship with each of my clients. I have been told that I am compassionate, reliable, trustworthy, and humorous, which has helped me successfully treat individuals across the lifespan.
