We strive to ensure that you or your teen feels listened to and understood. We couple that with our extensive expertise and and years of psychological training. My scientific background in Neuroscience paired with my clinical training in marriage and family therapy offers you a unique approach to therapy- one with a neurological and therapeutic basing. It takes so much courage to be here, to seek the support your teen needs. During this process, I strive to support you, the parent, through this journey, too, offer a non-judgemental ear and be there for you as you help your teen change. You are not alone! I would describe my style as sensitive, thoughtful, informed and creative.

My approach is systemic, meaning, together we look at the full picture. Together we will think about all the factors that might be impacting your child and piece the puzzle together to create solutions that work for everyone in your family. The first session is normally with the parents in order to get their perspective on the goals and to allow them to answer any questions. From there we schedule with the your teen. At times we might think that our problem lives inside of us and defines us, “I have anxiety, I am depressed.” But, together we will explore how the problem is not a reflection of who your teen really is and focus on their strengths too- building self-confidence. We will also explore the messages we receive in society about what it means to be a teenager today and how that impacts our views of ourselves so much. We are here to help your teen and your family.
