I currently work with individuals, couples, and families ages 18 and up. My areas of specialty include but are not limited to the following: Anxiety and depression, relationship and couples counseling, PTSD, childhood trauma, and stress management. Other areas include LGBTQ+, family conflict, and self-esteem and confidence issues.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including couples and marriage counseling, individuals, telehealth, and groups. I have worked successfully with both males and females and from all kinds of cultural backgrounds. I have dealt with anxiety and depression myself and can empathize with anyone who is struggling to get their life back to the quality that they are used to.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about supporting individuals in overcoming anxiety, depression, relationship and family challenges, and other obstacles in life. Having faced and overcome anxiety and depression myself, I can deeply empathize with those striving to reclaim the quality of life they are accustomed to. I find fulfillment in guiding clients to set meaningful goals, overcome internal and external obstacles, and enhance their overall quality of life. My experience includes providing individual, group, couples, and marriage counseling to people of all ages and backgrounds. My clients describe me as easygoing, laid-back, easy to talk to, and nonjudgmental. I use aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and goal-oriented therapy, to name a few. I am a musician, so I enjoy incorporating music, art, and other creative methods to help my clients find inspiration and connect with their thoughts and emotions.
