I incorporate self-care, mindfulness-based, trauma-informed, and somatic therapy interventions to promote healing and a mind-body connection. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Therapist with a Master of Social Work degree from East Carolina University, with extensive training in mindfulness, anxiety, trauma, medical social, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy, I understand the complexities of feeling whole when your needs are unmet. Through our work together, I aim to help you make meaning of life experiences and develop new skills so you can be your true self with newfound confidence. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am dedicated to helping others become the best version of themselves. I prioritize authenticity, life balance, and the mind-body connection. My life values and yoga practice serve as my inner guide. As a woman in the BIPOC community, I understand the challenges of accessing adequate medical care and navigating family dynamics when facing health changes. As the spouse of a retired veteran, I recognize the importance of wellness, self-care, and being part of a community that promotes inner connection and healing. Over the past 8 years as a licensed clinical social worker, I have actively pursued training and work opportunities that foster self-determination and a growth mindset for individuals. I want to help you find your voice and choice while navigating your medical condition or supporting a loved one.
