About My Clients
I work with clients from all backgrounds who want to work on managing their stress, anxiety, depression, and adult ADHD to find ways to move forward and create a happier and more stress-free life. I also help clients work through, understand, and navigate their relationships more effectively with better communication and fewer conflicts and misunderstandings. I'm an ADHD specialist.
My Background and Approach
My practice focuses on life transitions and changes, depression, anxiety, and adult ADHD using cognitive behavior and acceptance and commitment therapy. For those who have a prior diagnosis or think they may have some ADHD symptoms, we'll assess your history and executive skills for strengths and areas of improvement. I provide therapy from an ADHD-informed perspective to help you better understand how your unique ADHD affects your success at work, at home, and in relationships. We'll focus on finding solutions and taking actionable steps to address problems such as impulsivity, distractibility, procrastination, an inability to get started, task avoidance and paralysis, disorganization, emotional overwhelm, poor time management, uneven productivity, and relationship problems. Learn how common ADHD problems like low self-esteem, rejection sensitivity, and negative self-talk can contribute to depressive episodes, anxiety, and a lack of progress on goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
To me, therapy is a journey of understanding yourself, who you are, and why you think and feel the way you do. Together, we'll sort out the roots of your current struggles and focus on finding practical solutions to life challenges, depression, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm. We'll work to increase your understanding of your current challenges and learn healthier, more effective ways to manage stress, anxiety, and emotions.
