Anxiety is your brain's way of trying to protect you. It's just that it's a little bit overactive, telling you there's a constant source of danger when your safety isn't really at risk. We will treat your anxiety with respect and understanding as we explore the ways it works and eventually tell it that its work here is done.
In order to understand our patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in the present and make a plan for enabling our preferred future selves, we need to look back in time to our early developmental life and investigate those early experiences.
By conceptualizing our issues as something literally outside of our bodies that exert their own wills on us, we can flip the script and fight our battles in a new way, creating new realities where your preferred outcomes are honored and enabled.
