About My Clients
I with with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, and OCD. During our initial sessions, we will explore the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first three sessions and sustained improvement thereafter.
My Background and Approach
I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker that specializes in the treatment of Depression and Anxiety. I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral approach and specialize in the following: Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. If you’re struggling with symptoms of depression or anxiety, grief and loss, relationship issues, or any other transitions in life, I can help you explore and offer guidance all from the comfort of your own home. I offer the following empirically supported treatments: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy: for the treatment of anxiety and depression; Cognitive Processing Therapy: for the treatment of PTSD; Exposure and Response Prevention: for the treatment of OCD; & Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions, a parent-based treatment to reduce childhood anxiety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My passion is to help people overcome their depression and/or anxiety, and it can be accomplished using the right interventions. I will offer a safe space. I believe in being open-minded and non-judgmental when someone shares their personal story or experiences with me.
