About My Clients
Are you a high achieving person who is feeling anxious, burned out, out of alignment, and "at your limit"? Perhaps you are a working professional or a caregiver (or both!) who is feeling overwhelmed by juggling life's many responsibilities and looking to find ways to live a life that's more fully aligned with what matters most to you. I specialize in working with clients who may be impacted by anxiety, burnout, depression, and/or trauma.
My Background and Approach
I have over a decade of experience working across a wide variety of settings, including academic mental centers, state psychiatric hospitals, VA hospitals, and the corporate space. As such, I not only have experience working with a wide range of clients and presenting concerns, but I also have the lived experience of navigating my own work-life balance and burnout prevention as an employee in these different settings. My treatment approach is flexibly individualized to each client while also being heavily grounded in treatments that are proven to be highly effective. I am extensively trained in a variety of evidence-based treatments, including CBT, trauma-focused therapies (CPT and PE), and mindfulness and compassion-based therapies, and I am able to tailor my treatment approach to address your unique needs. Together we will set tangible goals and work on individualized skills and tools to help you get back into alignment with what matters most.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Rather than viewing you through the lens of a diagnosis, I recognize that you are a unique, multi-faceted person and I believe you are the true expert of your own lived experiences, goals, and values. My goal is to partner with you, empower you, and arm you with concrete skills and tools as you move closer and closer to living a life that is more consistent with what matters most to you. I often say that my goal is to "put myself out of a job," meaning that I want every client to be able to build the tools and confidence to eventually "become their own therapist." On a personal note, I love spending time with my husband and kiddos, baking, yoga-ing, and the occasional Netflix marathon.
