About My Clients

You push yourself to meet expectations—at work, in relationships, in every aspect of life—because failure isn’t an option. But no matter how much you achieve, that nagging voice keeps telling you it’s not enough. You overanalyze your mistakes, replay conversations, and wonder why you can’t just relax and feel good about where you are. Together, we’ll identify what’s fueling the pressure, challenge the patterns that keep you stuck, and help you build a life that feels authentic and balanced.

My Background and Approach

I became a professional counselor because of my own experience working with a therapist as a teenager. The transformational impact of that relationship changed my life, inspiring me to pursue a career in counseling to empower, support, and guide others on their journeys. I started my career as a college counselor at a prestigious independent high school in Charlotte. While there, I witnessed firsthand how perfectionism, anxiety, feelings of inadequacy, and social pressures prevented teens and young adults from embracing their authentic selves. This experience made me realize I wanted to help by directly supporting individuals struggling to balance their needs. I believe real change happens through genuine human connection, so I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship with every client. I create a space where you can be your true, authentic self, and I’m committed to understanding both your identity and the experiences that have shaped you.
