Experiencing chronic emotional distress and dysregulation can leave us feeling isolated and alone, and like we can't get connected to ourselves. I have worked extensively with people diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and Borderline Traits for years with empathic validation and effective Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Many of my clients utilize DBT skills to soothe distress, regulate emotions, and truly build a life that's worth living.
Trauma fundamentally shapes how we perceive the world, how we function within it, and how we take our next steps. Trauma is a psychological injury, and it is highly treatable and reparable. I utilize Attachment Focused EMDR to process and repair traumatic experiences, reinstate a sense of integrity to the self, and deeply heal traumatic wounds.
I specifically work with survivors of sexual trauma. As a survivor myself, I intimately know and understand the challenging process of recovery. I hold safe and validating space for survivors, and offer feminist justice-based interventions to repair trauma, rebuild a life worth living, and reconnect to community.
I have received extensive training and experience working with trauma recovery in individual, family and community spaces for over a decade. I have worked with clients recovering from trauma in all levels of care and acuity, and continue to dedicate my work to offering effective treatment for all disorders related to trauma.
