About My Clients
As a Chicana (bilingual and bicultural) my aim is to privilege cultural contexts in individual therapy and neuropsych assessments as well as to promote more effective strategies for change. Neuropsychological evaluations consider and assess the relationship between brain and behavior as well as the emotional sequelae of neurological disorders. I work with black, indigenous, and other people of color who struggle with intergenerational/historical trauma in their relationships and everyday life.
My Background and Approach
**My practice currently provides neuropsychological services for residents of California, New York, and Nevada in both Spanish and English language. **Proporciono servicios neuropsicológicos para los residentes de California, Nueva York, y Nevada. Using a multi contextual and integrated approach to treatment, I help clients effectively explore and cope with health concerns and chronic pain, process emotional and physical trauma, and navigate cognitive rehabilitation after brain injury and other traumatic experiences.
