I am a neurodiversity- affirming clinician. I recognize the barriers of having ADHD. I love to support clients in unmasking and trusting themselves to adapt in ways that feel authentic, valuable, reduce shame, and allow for fulfillment in identity and function.

As a queer woman and affirming provider, I work hard to support the community through my clinical work, and my community advocacy. I seek to prevent loss and harm in the community by providing parent education, peer support, and creating a safe, affirming therapy space for individuals who identify as members of the queer community. You deserve to be out, proud, supported, and loved. I am here to help you find those spaces where you can fully BE.

I work from a Health at Every Size, fat-positive lens in treatment of eating disorders and body-image issues for over 5 years. You deserve to have a healthy, loving, joyful relationship with food, body, and movement, and together we can make that happen.

Art and Expressive therapies are wonderful ways to process and heal. I've witnessed the experience show up uniquely for clients in my years of practice. Through Art therapy, clients learn to connect and comfort themselves, develop insight about their behaviors, and heal the impacts of trauma. Art is a window into pieces of our experience that we cannot always name. If talk-therapy has not met all of your needs, lets explore another way to connect and heal- through art!

My experience in trauma treatment began in college, working with survivors of sexual abuse, and the person-centered, trauma informed work influences all areas of my work. Trauma changes a person's experience of safety, positive value of self, and sense of meaning in the world around them. Recovery and healing can be possible with effective supports, and I would be honored to support your healing journey.

Person-Centered therapy ultimately names the client (you) as the expert on self. As your therapist, I only act as a guide. My ultimate function as your therapist is to do my best to understand your perspective, show up authentically as myself so you trust I have no agenda, and offer you unconditional positive regard- meaning no judgement! I believe our best-self is present when we are in strong, balanced relationships. Therapy at it's core is a reflective and supportive relationship between client and provider. Through the therapeutic relationship, we will navigate the challenges you've experienced by exploring faulty beliefs, communication issues, and increasing self-awareness so you can be the strongest advocate for loving yourself, and growing in love and companionship with others.

Even though you can’t erase your trauma, with the right support, you’re strong enough to heal. You don’t have to minimize your experiences— your trauma is “big” enough, and you are worthy of support. Trauma therapy can help you create a sense of safety and help you reconnect with what matters. You deserve to live fully, without shame. Therapy can show the injured parts of you the compassion they deserve, making way for new growth and self-empowerment.

Art offers us an alternative to spoken language that can reveal new information, express what we cannot say, and rewrite old narratives we have lived by. Art therapy can help you deal with strong emotions, increase your self-awareness and self-worth, and decrease stress and anxiety. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be an artist for it to work! Just the act of creating art can support our minds in processing information indirectly.
