My Background and Approach
Our innate ability to learn and adapt can get stuck by traumatic or overwhelming experiences. We may know what we should do but have difficulty putting it into action. Working together to understand and heal struggles personalizes treatment and makes it more effective. Using trauma focused, parts-work, and mind body therapies means that all of what makes you, you is woven into the therapeutic process. Integrating Brené Brown’s Daring Way work on wholehearted living and shame resiliency can further heal hearts. As an EMDR Consultant and Certified Therapist, treating traumatic experiences with EMDR has supported many clients' powerful healing. Achievable with standard weekly sessions or intensive treatment.
