About My Clients
My passion is working with those who have a complicated relationship with food, their bodies, and exercise. I specialize in helping teens, adults, and athletes who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating, body image issues, over-exercise, and chronic dieting. My work involves teaching clients to embrace and value their bodies while learning to navigate and cope with diet culture and societal expectations.
My Background and Approach
Apart from my specialty, I also work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, depression, and trauma. I draw from various types of therapy, selecting methods that are most likely to deliver positive outcomes. To do this, I primarily use evidence-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, strengths-based therapies, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to empower you to gain perspective and insight while helping you regain trust with yourself.
