About My Clients
My practice focuses on supporting those who are exploring identity and navigating feelings of 'not good enough' or 'too much,' especially those recovering from the racist & colonized history of anti-fatness, anti-transness, and anti-Blackness. I love working with trans and nonbinary gender identity, intersections in queerness/LGBQ+, B.I.POC, and fatness/radical body acceptance. I provide referral letter evals for those seeking gender-affirming surgery (Galap Pledge).
My Background and Approach
Let's talk about how I might help you navigate this time, to further understand yourself in the context of your ancestral history and colonization, and to increase your ability to hold hard moments with self-compassion and radical self-love. I aim to be actively engaged, affirming, authentic, humorous, passionate, and not afraid to ask tough questions. Practicing since 2008 with my Masters - Licensed Psychologist since 2014. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At times, we all feel 'not good enough' or 'too much,' struggling to have compassion in difficult moments or to radically accept all parts of ourselves. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and understood with all the fullness of who you are, while also not dismissing your experience & feelings. You deserve a clinician who challenges you while also creating a space for authenticity, connection, & humor. I'm passionate about social justice personally and professionally. I regularly seek and provide advanced training/consultation related to queer/trans/nonbinary affirming care and gender liberation, in addition to expanding my anti-racist work and supporting trans, fat, and Black liberation.
