Anxiety is tiring. It is always there, nagging “What if..., What if...? You want to feel at peace – to breathe in and out, have space, and not feel pressured. Anxiety hijacks your thoughts and squeezes the space out. Things get tight. Time is short, money is short, and relationships are at risk. We will work together to understand your anxiety better. You can’t know it when you run away from it, or it runs you. We will help you get back in control, feel at peace, and enjoy your life.
My Background and Approach
There are different kinds of anxiety and we will help you get to know yours. We'll see if we can mellow it out. Yes, this is a different approach from warfare - fighting it and trying to wipe it out for good. We need some anxiety to survive and function. We will try to dial it down a notch and help you find a way to do that on your own when you need to. Starting psychotherapy is also anxiety-provoking. We will work together to make this process as clear as possible. I am not here to judge or preach to you. I'm here to help you remove the obstacles on your path so that you can feel free to move forward, wherever you go. This sense of mental freedom, to say Yes or No, try things, make mistakes without it being the end of the world, and explore what's out there - can be one of the additional benefits of psychotherapy.
