I have worked with teens in various settings over the last 5 years and am passionate about working with them. In my work, I have seen how easily adolescent issues can be overlooked due to being "just a phase". My passion in helping this age group is to target those difficulties that can prevent teens from meeting their goals , in the now or in the future. It is not "just a phase" and I work to take adolescents struggles as serious, while also providing space to sometimes not be serious.

I help teens improve their self esteem and develop their identities.

I will work with you to identify alternatives to negative coping skills and identify barriers and goals.

Anxiety can come in many forms. Anxiety can look like simply always leaving on time to make it to another location, or it can look like never wanting to leave the house. It appears to protect us. Anxiety comes in so many different forms, and I can support you in identifying those barriers and the goals of how you can grow from the feeling of being trapped. My goal is find the strength in the anxiety, and use it to your advantage even if that means learning to cope with it.

I have experience working with depression and the following difficulties that come with it; lack of motivation, isolation, and sadness to name a few. I work to support you, at your own pace, to find the strength that you need and increasing your toolbox of coping skills. I utilize different modalities, as treatment for depression is not always a one-size-fits all approach.
