About My Clients
I work with adults in NH, MA, VT & OK with a variety of issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, grief, advanced illness, and life changes. I'm an affirming LGBTQIA+ supporter with advanced education and experience in gender diverse health and clinical issues plus poly, non-monogamous, & kink . You do not have to be in the LGBTQIA community to reach out and work with me. I write letters for gender-affirming surgery using the informed consent model, so typically in 1 session.
My Background and Approach
I have a Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of New Hampshire and a Master's in Social Work from Fordham Graduate School of Social Services in New York City. I begin by making a person-to-person connection, noting your strengths and skills as well as your stressors. I use an eclectic approach including self-compassion, CBT, mindfulness and solution/strengths-focused. Counseling can help you to improve relationships, manage grief or stress and anxiety, reach career and personal goals, and improve outlook and mood.
