My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner, the most significant aspect of my career is to provide a holistic healing presence. Holistic healing presence is being consciously and compassionately in the present moment with my clients, acknowledging and affirming their prospect for wholeness wherever stage of healing or recovery process they are in. I found trusting and collaborative partnerships with my clients invaluable, which has helped me in creating a lasting professional therapeutic relationship needed to overcome fears, reservations, and stigmatization often associated with psychiatric and mental health illnesses.
