About My Clients
One of my passions is working with couples and relationships, especially those navigating transitions. I provide therapy for individuals, couples, relationships, and families from a collaborative, supportive place, helping you navigate life and find sustainable change. I work with clients of any gender expression, race, size, sexual orientation, relationship model, culture, religion, age, and disability.
My Background and Approach
I began training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy through the Portland Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy in 2021 and I completed advanced EFT training in 2022. I approach my work with clients from a systemic perspective, prioritizing responsiveness and flexibility to support healing, connection and sustainable change. We will explore your beliefs about yourself, with intentional consideration of your unique identities, honoring the complexities of what makes you, you. Collaboration is at the heart of how I establish a therapeutic relationship and I aim to infuse hope and build trust from our first session. We’ll use goals as our guide to make progress towards authentic change, growth and self-acceptance. I earned a Master of Arts in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (R7929) and I am fortunate to be supervised by Lana Kim, PhD, LMFT in the State of Oregon.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As humans, we are wired to be in connection with others and I believe that emotion is at the center of how we process our experiences. I approach clients and their stories from a place of curiosity and aim to uncover patterns that cause disconnection. I primarily practice Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) when working with individuals, couples, relationships and families.
