I believe in individualized care. Eclectic Therapy uses a variety of techniques and gives us the flexibility to tailor your sessions to best treat your current challenges, as well as any changes along the way.

The impact of our thoughts and beliefs on our daily lives can often have an overlooked impact on the ways in which we function. Many of us have developed negative core beliefs over time in which there is not necessarily any evidence of a future struggle occurring. I have used Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a variety of clients, in settings such as schools, assisted living facilities, and dialysis clinics when attempting to improve a patient's overall quality of life.

I believe in treating the client as a whole, and considering how their past experiences may impact their present level of functioning and future goals. Insight and understanding of yourself can greatly impact the choices you make, as well as your view of the society in which we live. I hope for you to become the best, "you," that you want to become. Life can be a complicated journey, but surrounding yourself with positive peers and healthy ways of living can help ease the challenging times.

Adjustment disorders can happen for a number of reasons. It is important to recognize the negative impact these bring upon yourself as a result of a situation, expected or unexpected. By recognizing the situation and accepting what we cannot change, people often find new peace, or new strengths they never knew existed within themselves as a result of attending therapy.

An often overlooked, stigmatized, and sometimes silent illness, Depression can be difficult to identify with or admit to experiencing. Have you ever had anyone say: Just stop thinking about it? Be positive! Why are you depressed, look what you have in life? So many people are struggling more than you & are not depressed! This illness has been known to lead to very sad outcomes if not treated. Please do not suffer alone. Seeing a therapist is one courageous way to begin healing.

Issues resulting from medical conditions often include: grief and loss, family conflict, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, loss of routine and/or job, trauma, loss of identify, and more. In my work with these populations, I processed their feelings regarding the changes, how to incorporate the changes, while working with them to prevent their entire lives from BEING these changes.
