About My Clients
I work with a variety of populations such as children 0-5, children, adolescents, and adults. Each client is coming into therapy for different needs. I tailor my therapeutic approach based on the individual and the age. Through working with me will figure out the root cause of your symptoms and different experiences that you are having. I create an open and safe place to help my clients through the struggles that they are facing.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master’s in Social Work in order to be able to provide resources, skills, and helpful strategies to families. I use a combination of approaches: behavioral, CBT, solution-focused, person centered, play and art therapy. My passion is helping children and families ages 0-5 years old. I also enjoy working with teens and young adults. I love seeing their positive changes and overall growth from when we start working together to the end of services. I am trained in different evidence based practices which include TFCT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to help you process your trauma. I also utilize EMDR (Eye Movement Desentization and Reprocessing) this helps traumatic events and memories with the utilization of eye movements.
