Maybe you're fed up with a lack of intimacy, tense conversations with your partner, or chronic self-doubt and worry. You might not even remember a time when you didn't feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready for some relief. You want to understand yourself better, learn new ways of relating, and find a path forward.
My Background and Approach
I help individuals and couples decode desire, enhance pleasure, and improve their relationships. Clients appreciate my knack for remembering details—from the specifics of your high school heartache to what you binge watched last season. I focus on treating the whole person (not just your symptoms) and will be curious about your values, strengths, and beliefs in our work together. My therapeutic style blends care and compassion with gentle confrontation and the occasional pun. I help you develop practical skills and strategies to create positive change, while never pushing to a place you don't feel ready to be.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in creating spaces that are inclusive and welcoming. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, kink-aware, and poly-friendly. I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Peru '11 - '13) and a lifelong learner who believes in doing the hard work of self-development, whether that be unlearning white supremacy, training in new therapeutic modalities, or unpacking my own sh!t in therapy. I volunteer on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee of my professional organization (AASECT) to make sex therapy, education, and training more accessible and anti-oppressive.
