About My Clients

In my therapy space, you will find lightness and humor that can allow you to sink in, feel comfortable, and share your burdens with me. I aim to help you to find the barriers to the actions you need to take in your life, and remove them, and I believe that a warm and collaborative therapy space is the best foundation for self-reflection and for finding courage to make changes, while feeling supported and seen.

My Background and Approach

I integrate a psychodynamic lens with a solution-focused process to achieve your goals. I am a certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and practice this as well as Emotionally Focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I received my master’s degree in counseling at Northwestern University, after many years as a writer and a journalist. I believe that our stories give our lives their true meaning and I am passionate about working with individuals and couples on navigating the many life transitions in both personal and professional realms. This includes relationship challenges, anxiety, depression and prenatal and postpartum adjustment and transition to parenthood. I will walk beside you as you find out where your story takes you, and whatever your happy ending looks like.
