Attachment Theory is an area of psychology that studies the nature of emotional attachment between humans. I work collaboratively with my clients to explore and understand their attachment style with their parents and offer insight to their attachment style to their romantic partners to better understand their relationship patterns and improve their overall relationship.

Humanistic therapy is an approach that emphasizes the importance of being your true self in order to lead the most fulfilling version of your life. We will work collaboratively to understand you as a whole person, especially the positive characteristics and protentional growth that can foster change. We will explore the importance of being the authentic self, learn to accept and love yourself, and ultimately to work towards overall growth.

Treating PTSD is one of my main specialty that I bring to my practice. I am trained Brainspotting, technique that help clients access emotions, sensations, and memories related to their traumatic events which are stored in the brain. Brainspotting is an innovative therapy using aspects of EMDR, mindfulness, and brain and body-based therapies.

Brainspotting is effective for a wide variety of emotional and somatic conditions. Brainspotting is particularly effective with trauma-based situations, helping to identify and heal underlying trauma that contributes to anxiety, depression and other behavioral. BSP taps into and harnesses the body’s natural self-scanning, self-healing ability. BSP makes use of this natural phenomenon through its use of relevant eye positions.
