My Background and Approach
As an integrative therapist, I strive to provide a holistic approach to counseling that incorporates all aspects of a person's life. I believe that mental health is influenced by many factors, including physical health, relationships, environment, and addressing these factors is essential for overall well-being. In my therapy sessions, I take the time to get to know my clients and understand their unique experiences and needs. I use a variety of techniques and interventions, including mindfulness-based approaches, evidence-based and expressive therapies, to help individuals achieve balance and harmony in their lives. To gain a sense of personal growth and fulfillment I enjoy incorporating whole-body therapeutic techniques, and creative modalities to aid in the development of coping tools in the here-and-now. By using our senses through expressive techniques we reconnect ourselves to the body to create the opportunity to channel the wisdom we intrinsically embody.
