About My Clients
Today's world's stressors can feel overwhelming, leaving us feeling disconnected from ourselves, the world, and each other. This can lead to depression, anxiety, and other common experiences like imposter syndrome, burnout, and feelings of low self-worth. I believe in every person's inherent right and capacity to live a life of joy and authenticity, and I'd love to support you in rediscovering your authentic self and reclaiming your most meaningful life!
My Background and Approach
I graduated with a Masters in Social Work from Tulane University in 2017. Since then, my experience as a therapist has encompassed work with LGBTQ+ community members, veterans, adolescents, individuals with a history of trauma, as well as those experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, overwhelm, boundary challenges, relationship and communication concerns, as well as self-esteem issues. I am certified in CBT, and have training in ACT, IFS, mindfulness, expressive arts therapy, somatics work, and ecotherapy. In addition to my training as a therapist, I am a certified yoga teacher with a background in trauma-informed practices. I have seen tremendous benefit in using all of these practices, both individually and collectively, as effective means toward healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am oriented toward a feminist and social justice lens. Through my experience in ecotherapy, I know that through reconnection with the land, we can achieve personal and collective liberation. I also know that greatness resides within all of us, and that healing happens through connection and community.
