About My Clients

I’m so glad you’re here- it takes courage to ask for help, and I’m honored to be considered. I believe that people already have exactly what they need to heal. I enjoy working with a range of clients and specialize in assisting individuals and couples who are neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and/or adult survivors of complex trauma and their partners navigate anxiety, depression, communication issues, and cultivate healthy sexuality. I am also kink/BDSM affirming and poly/ethical non-monogamy affirming.

My Background and Approach

I believe that people already have exactly what they need to heal. Rather than focusing on what is lacking, I collaborate with clients to remove external constraints that block access to that power, harmonize your inner system, and build a relationship to your core self. As a result, behavior, emotions, and thoughts tend to change naturally. I strive to facilitate healing that includes both interpersonal challenges and how systems of power and privilege are affecting your livelihood. I previously provided individual and group counseling at DVRC and somatic therapy at Harlem Hospital and on interdisciplinary therapy teams. I received a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and completed IFS Level 1 from the IFS Institute. In addition to providing evidence-based practices, I’m also a trained Yoga Therapist and enjoy offering somatic and psycho-spiritual approaches bolster holistic healing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I became a therapist because even in the face of the most challenging circumstances, I believe everyone deserves the right to feel fulfilled, safe, and empowered. As a Pleasure Activist, I love to help people move from shame-based to a pleasure-centered relationship to their sexuality and see this work as integral to collective liberation. Accompanying people on their own journey of self-discovery whether that’s solo or in partnership, fills me with an immense amount of meaning and joy. I am an active ally; I’m a queer neurodivergent femme-presenting and white-bodied person who is aware of my privilege and continuously humbling myself. I look forward to bearing witness to your growth!
