About My Clients
My work is personalized, energy-centered, rooted in strengths and purpose, collaborative, and tailored to your unique situation. I recognize that I am holding space for my client to find meaning and purpose in their experience and interceptions of identity. I provide culturally affirmative services that draw on your desire to know yourself more and feel empowered by your healing journey as you unify your mind, body, and spirit through movement and energy-centered practices.
My Background and Approach
Axis Mundi would like to present Savannah Wilson. Savannah is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee and is supervised weekly by Elysha Martinez, LMFT #93493. The supervisor works with Savannah to help develop their clinical skills and ensure that they provide quality care to you as the client. Savannah is also currently working towards receiving her Master's in Counseling Psychology-Holistic at John F. Kennedy University. Savannah's preferred gender pronouns are she/her/hers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Mixed-raced women, I’ve been torn between them all and told I am not enough for any. Being told who I am supposed to be has taught me to explore who I am meant to be. I grew up in Pacifica, CA, a coastal beach girl trying to learn my own mixed-race experience, which led me to become a therapist. I would love to provide a space to anyone trying to find meaning and purpose in their own human experience and not feel alone while doing it. Deciding to come to therapy can be a big decision and a vulnerable experience for your teen. I understand as a parent, it might be hard to talk about societal oppression, mixed-race experience, or racial identity. Therapy is used as a space to support you in exploring these vulnerable topics and the group is to connect with others with similar experiences.
