My approach resonates with clients (ages 13-72) who value creativity, spontaneity, and flexibility, in a non-judgmental welcoming space. Many of my clients have shared that they live on the fringe of societal norms and have felt disconnected from traditional therapy models. Most of my clients identify within the LGBTQ+ community, some are exploring or living in kink or polyamorous relationships.
My Background and Approach
As a seasoned queer clinical social worker, my extensive expertise lies in gender therapy and LGBTQ+ issues. My approach is kink and polyamory-positive, fostering a non-judgmental space for exploration. Sessions often integrate mindfulness, movement and expressive arts, offering a dynamic and effective therapeutic experience catered to each client's unique needs. My focus always centers on the present moment. I refrain from imposing rigid expectations "shoulds" and prioritize the unfolding of the therapeutic journey. The creative process, with its inherent uncertainties, becomes a transformative tool, granting the freedom to embrace the unknown. My commitment extends to dismantling societal expectations, encouraging clients to question, explore, and create. Together, we navigate the complexities of individual experiences- be it trauma, abuse, loss, heartache- refining safety structures and implementing new tools for continued growth and self-discovery.
