My ideal client is someone who is ready to take the first step into their journey of healing and or creating the life that they desire.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is heavily centered around empowerment – I will help equip you with the necessary skills for you to uphold your values in practical and attainable ways and empower you to hold yourself accountable to the goals that you set for yourself. Throughout my career, I have been intentional about working with different populations to develop and strengthen the skills necessary to best care for those that I work with. My primary experience has been in individual therapy servicing children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and the elderly. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, foster care involvement, separation from family, criminal justice involvement, homelessness, grief and loss, depression, low self-esteem, addiction, PTSD, new cultural, and life transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a beautiful journey to learning and unlearning parts of yourself. I have seen how transformative a supportive and therapeutic environment can be for an individual. My hope is to walk alongside you as you develop the tools necessary to manage the life you have or to create the one you desire; whether that be in relationships, work life, or rediscovering who you are and what you want, in the midst of living.
