About My Clients
Has your child experienced trauma that has changed their behavior or mood? You are not alone. Whether it be bullying, grief, witnessing domestic violence or divorce- children and adolescents aren't always able to express themselves in ways that we understand. In fact, their unhealthy coping mechanisms can trigger anxiety, depression and behavioral issues. As your preferred therapist, I will help your child communicate more effectively and learn tools to live a more balanced life.
My Background and Approach
The skills and tools that I bring to the therapeutic relationship are grounded in communication, respect and compassion. Although I have over 15 years of experience and have earned advanced certifications, I value the life experiences of everyone I interact with. Together, we co-create a plan to support your healing. Over the years, I've supported individuals who have been impacted by substance use, trauma and incarceration. My training in grief support, anger management and trauma have been helpful to those that need a different perspective or additional tools to handle life challenges.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has a story to tell and that our voices are valuable. In my personal life, I continue to have powerful experiences that teach me valuable lessons. I am able to learn something from everyone that I interact with and I appreciate listening to different perspectives.
