About My Clients
Individuals often possess innate capabilities to manage life's difficulties. Unfortunately one's experiences can undermine this belief. I aim to assist clients in gaining a greater belief in their ability to control, confront, and cope through concerns by reauthoring unhelpful narratives from the past and increasing their self-efficacy. In collaboration with clients I hope to address problems, decrease symptoms, and restore an overall sense of general wellbeing.
My Background and Approach
I use proven therapy techniques and a supportive, non-judgmental style to help clients move forward and grow. I help adults struggling with anxiety, mood issues, OCD, and trauma by providing behavioral centered techniques that facilitate long-term outcomes. In therapy, I use CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, and exposure and response prevention to help clients overcome challenges and accomplish goals. I have worked in outpatient private practice settings, as well as partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and crisis settings. I earned a graduate degree from Marquette University.
