About My Clients
I have experience working with adults struggling with past trauma, Substance Abuse Disorders and those adapting to new diagnosis of mood disorders. I enjoy providing psycho-education to help understand the neuroscience behind addiction and how mood and symptomatology tracking can promote stabilization of long-term recovery.
My Background and Approach
I believe in keeping an open and honest environment when working together to identify the best course of action and coping skills to help achieve your goals. I like using different approaches and tools to help you identify areas to improve and create boundaries in order to improve quality of life and reduce symptoms. I have enjoyed working with different levels of care and therapy, while helping individual reduce and manage depression and anxiety, as well as work towards sustaining sobriety. I enjoy getting to know each individual's true self, all aspects of their life and needs in order to provide adequate interventions with skills to help improve day to day life. I am EMDR trained and use multiple modalities including CBT and DBT skills to provide a comprehensive approach to provide assistance with life's transitions and downswings.
