About My Clients
I work with individuals on a range of issues, including self-esteem, body image, relationship struggles, perfectionism, anxiety, and depression. If you frequently experience imposter syndrome, are a perfectionist whose actions are governed by “oughts” and “shoulds,” or struggle with self-esteem, then you’re in the right place. I am also deeply passionate about helping those in the perinatal space get the support, information, and validation they need throughout their journey toward parenthood.
My Background and Approach
As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I use my background in evidence-based therapies, my fellowship training at Kaiser Permanente, and my experience in the startup space to support women in the Bay Area in developing deeper self-compassion, self-awareness, and self-worth. My approach is warm, authentic, supportive, and nonjudgmental. When working with clients, I like to blend humor, psychoeducation, skill-building, clinical insight, and a whole lot of validation. My goal as your therapist is to create a safe and supportive space where we can explore where you have been, where you are now, and where you would like to go. Together, we will work to help you cultivate deeper self-efficacy, find compassion for the things you feel shame around, and learn how to live in a way that aligns with your needs and values.
