My main goals for clients include reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, improving overall well-being, and promoting personal growth and resilience. I’m passionate about helping others achieve their goals & I believe that everyone needs a safe and nonjudgmental space to explore their thoughts and feelings.
My Background and Approach
I’ve had extensive experience with using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Strengths-Based Therapy while working in the Chicago Public and Chicago Charter schools for nearly 10 years. My treatment approach is rooted in evidence based practices that focus on mind-body-spirit. I studied at The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where I obtained my Master’s degree in Social Work. I love using a Strengths-based approach when working with clients, as I am a firm believer that everyone has something that makes them unique. I work to help clients see the glass as half full verses half empty. I consider myself a constant student of life, as there will always be something worth learning or discovering. I would like to empower you with the tools necessary to create change, discover new passions, maintain balance, and or restore balance
