I have over 20 years experience working with children and families and love supporting kids in processing feelings, guiding them in identifying needs, and empowering them with coping skills. I'm certified in secondary education as well as Social Emotional Arts and currently serve as school therapist and Health & Wellness instructor teacher at the Sequoyah School in Pasadena.

I love to use art to express subconscious feelings and beliefs that may not come easily when talking. From writing and drawing to sculpting and moving, expressive art can also be a gentle way to engage the body for clients who may not be comfortable with somatic work.

I love somatic exploration for tending to subconscious anxiety, depression and trauma held in the body- as well as building up positive feelings and resources! As a Hakomi-trained practitioner, I guide clients in tracking somatic responses (such as gestures, posture, facial expressions, emotion) that the body uses to communicate. This is a gentle, intuitive exploration that follows the client's lead, which increases sense of safety for those who may otherwise be wary of somatic work.

Being a human in 2023 is A LOT and it's easy to feel overwhelmed and unsafe. I have over 10 years experience teaching energy healing, mindfulness, meditation, and self-regulation skills to help you manage persistent stress and worry. More than that, I aim to help you heal your fears at the source so you can do more than just cope; you can live your fullest, free-est life.

I have worked with adolescents for over 20 years and find they all want the same things: a sense of safety and someone to believe in them. As a therapist to young adults, it's important to me to create a trusted space where kids can feel secure expressing their authentic selves. Our work is very collaborative and empowering as together we explore identity, needs, feelings, boundaries, and tools to help them take charge of their mental and emotional health.
