Congratulations on seeking therapy! It isn’t easy work, but you can build a healthier, happier life, and I'd be honored to help you do it.

About My Clients

I’m affirming of all genders, sexualities, and relationship structures. My approach is collaborative and flexible. We’ll work together to help you articulate your needs and craft a plan for meeting them. I’ll provide practical tools for immediate relief and help you gain insight to support lasting change.

How I Can Help You

* Relationship Counseling - if you just can’t seem to stop fighting, or you want to reconnect after an infidelity (of any kind), or you’re struggling to co-parent, I’d like to help you communicate more clearly, understand yourself and your (ex-)partner(s) better, and solve problems as a team. --------------------------------- * Depression - if you find it hard to care about anything, if you feel alone and hopeless, I won’t ask you to be happy-go-lucky if that’s not who you are, but I'd like to help you build a life worth living. If you are so distressed that you’re contemplating ending your life, I am trained in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS). ------------------------------------------------- * Anxiety - if everything seems so high-stakes that you’re terrified of messing up, if you can’t stop worrying about all of the terrible things in the world, I’d like to help you face those fears and find peace.

More About the People I Treat

* Life Transitions and Existential Concerns - if you don’t know what you want or even who you are right now; if life seems overwhelming or pointless or both, I’d like to help you find meaning, purpose, and a sense of self. ------------- * Trauma - whether you’re afraid to drive again after a car accident or you’re learning to love yourself after years of abuse, I’d like to help you soothe your hyper-sensitized system and leave the past where it belongs. You cannot undo what happened, but you can have a different life now. I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. While I am not yet a specialist in religious trauma, I have a strong clinical interest in it and am developing my expertise in this area.
