About My Clients
I work with children/teens/adults who are neurodivergent and/or LGBTQIA+ as well as parents seeking support. My clients often want help working with their anxiety interacting in society and building relationships with others. They also often need support in terms of recognizing their needs and learning how to advocate for them. I also work with parents who are looking for support in how to connect with their child/teen, which includes setting limits and helping their kiddo regulate.
My Background and Approach
My experience as a clinical intern for Playful Therapy Connections allowed me to work with neurodivergent kids, teens, adults, parents, and families. I developed my skills in providing client-centered therapy as well as modeling and educating about recognizing, setting, and respecting boundaries.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone is worthy and deserving of love...ESPECIALLY self-love. I believe every part of us has an important purpose, usually to protect us. We've been criticized and judged for having certain emotions/thoughts that we create this inner critic that shoves these emotions and thoughts away. I believe these emotions and thoughts need to be heard and supported in order to heal.
