My Background and Approach
Jacquetta is a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 10 years of experience in this field. She graduated from Louisiana State University Shreveport in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and in 2012 with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. Jacquetta is truly passionate about helping others. She puts her whole heart into everything she does. She has experience in several different settings including the hospital setting, schools, the juvenile court system, substance abuse treatment and in traditional mental health rehabilitation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
She views therapy as a connection between therapist and client that bridges the gap between where you are and where you want to be, with you in the driver’s seat. Jacquetta uses a non-judgmental, client-centered approach to assist you in better understanding yourself and creating healthy methods to handle whatever life throws at you. She truly cares about each of her clients and is dedicated to making the therapeutic process a meaningful journey as they strive to become their best self!
