About My Clients
Sometimes we need a change in our lives, our relationships and ourselves, and we need help navigating how to do that. Sometimes the change and loss happen to us, and we need help navigating how to get through it. Whether change is something you want in yourself or your relationship, or you are grieving change life has thrown your way, therapy can help. Having someone come alongside with empathy and knowledge can be a light in the dark to illuminate the path forward.
My Background and Approach
The most important part of therapy is feeling heard, seen and understood. Practically, I use training from Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 and EFT when I work with couples on conflict and communication. I have Levels 1 & 2 Brainspotting to help move somatic storage of trauma. I am well-versed in military culture and challenges. I am also a Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGIP).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I volunteer with Hospice of Santa Cruz. I have worked as a grief counselor at Camp Erin and engage in pet companion visits for those on hospice and their loved ones.
