About My Clients
I work with individuals and their families on issues related to trauma, self-harm, attachment struggles, individual and group relationship dynamics, domestic violence, relational boundaries, and how these factors and mental health symptoms play out in patterns in people’s lives. I’ve also worked with children and adolescents identifying as part of the LGBTQIA community, who inspire incredible strength and resilience.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Millersville University with a Masters's Degree in Social Work, where I honed individual clinical skills while pursuing causes related to community needs. Although I have preferred styles and modalities, I take an eclectic approach to treatment and like meeting people where they are and moving at a deliberate pace. Music and art have played a big role in my life, for example, leaving me open to a more creative, fluid process. Strengths-based practice and a trusting, collaborative relationship with one another is the biggest key to success.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I take pride in being a calming and nonjudgmental presence, empathic approach to others, and highlighting person-centered practice and self-determination throughout treatment.
