About My Clients
Worrying all the damn time is exhausting. It feels like you can't get ahead. You are experiencing panic, shame, and guilt. Isolation has impacted the things you enjoy and your ability to connect with family and friends. You are worried about finances, relationships are suffering, and you aren't sure what the future holds. You've been arguing more and relying on less than healthy coping just to make it through the day. Together, we can find ways to thrive amidst the chaos.
My Background and Approach
With over twenty years working to help others find healthy ways to experience joy, I started a new venture into private practice in July of 2020. I have helped families who have children with behavior challenges that have led them to involvement with court or children's services; I have worked in the county jail with inmates struggling with mental health or substance use disorders; and I have worked as a therapist in a long-term care facility. I believe in strengths based and solution focused work. I have a core belief that every person has strengths and we can draw on them to help you meet your needs. After recovering from Covid-19, I started a journey in private practice. I have a master's degree in social science administration as well as a master's in positive organization development and change, both from Case Western Reserve University. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision designation in the State of Ohio.
