About My Clients
Are you feeling stuck and in need of a change? Are you struggling with an underlying worry? Do you find yourself with little motivation to form and maintain relationships with friends and family? Sometimes, when it comes to dealing with personal and relational difficulties, we struggle with how to cope, who to talk to and what to say. This is where I can help. My Background and Approach
I am passionate about building relationships, and helping people work through struggle. I have been in the field of psychotherapy since 2012 after receiving my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, My time has been spent working with men and women struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, life transitions, relationship struggles, and substance use. Working in both inpatient and outpatient environments, I have experience running individual and group sessions focused around anger management, grief, self-care, coping skill building, mindfulness meditation. I have also developed a passion working with men who are struggling to communicate and cope with difficult emotions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the capacity of growth in anyone. In my, experience, I have been truly honored to work with people who show so much strength in the changes that they have made. I also believe that a positive change in one individual can lead to change in relationships, family systems, and community. This is where my passion for men's mental health lies. I see men struggling with the ability to manage their emotions and it begins to erode not only their mental health, but the connection with family, friends, and their community. I also see men with a desire to break that cycle. I am hoping to help men shift the narrative about masculinity towards emotional awareness and meaningful connection with others.
