About My Clients
Do you feel stressed and overwhelmed, as if you're pouring from an empty cup with a full plate to navigate? Do past experiences come to mind intrusively, causing you to feel dysregulated and making it difficult to trust others? Or maybe you're going through a transitional period and are realizing the tools that once served you are no longer for your benefit. You are not alone. You deserve to have a space where you are in control to process and allow the answers within to surface and guide you.
My Background and Approach
I have been a social worker for 4 years, starting as part of a peer organizing group working with wrongfully incarcerated individuals and exonerees. I then moved to working as a case manager with individuals experiencing homelessness and gained crisis intervention and deescalation skills before stepping into clinical work. I have ran Social and Emotional Learning groups with young adolescents and interned as a clinical therapist before stepping into my current role. My personal and professional experiences shape the way I show up in sessions to provide identity-affirming care. I operate through an anti-oppressive lens using a trauma-informed approach, mind/body connection, DBT, and a relational-cultural framework. My goal is to understand the parts of you that make up the whole, and to collaborate on what works best for you to reach your goals.
