About My Clients

Life is so much more colorful when you paint from your own palette. My clients seek meaning, understanding, fulfillment, and embodiment through the ways they shape, and are shaped by, their environment: LGBTQIA+, kink, consensual nonmonogamy, sex work, neurodivergence, and meaning/spirituality all welcome. I work best with relationships and individuals who are motivated to untangle their own lives, and want a side-kick to co-navigate the tricky path.

My Background and Approach

I have a personal, conversational, kick-your-shoes-off-and-get-comfy style mixed with let’s-get-down-to-business. We’ll co-investigate themes you find yourself regularly stuck in, how they show up in your daily life, and work together to help you find creative ways to grow and find peace. Primarily, I work through an existential humanistic lens with Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples looking for tools to navigate communication. For stuff you can’t seem to just “get over”, I’m also trained in EMDR and Flash Technique.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

We all live under an oppressive system, with some impacted more than others. My stance is that social justice is a process of humanizing each other, from which we are driven to dismantle colonizing structures out of love. In therapy this can look like emotional safety, care, play, self-expression, authenticity, humor, interdependence, negotiating and enforcing boundaries, and considering the ways we engage with self and others that perpetuate harmful dynamics.
