I am an autistic, trans masc, non-binary, ADHD therapist. I graduated from UNT with my M.S in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in Dallas, TX
Supervised by Jessica Demla, LPC-S
As someone who has struggled with suicidal thoughts in the past, I am intimately aware of the struggles that come with these thoughts. I have three years of experience working with clients who are suicidal or self harming. My goal is to help clients find the proper coping skills and to address the underlying issues causing these thoughts.
As a trans masc, non-binary, lesbian, I am very aware of the difficulties of being part of the queer community. I work with internalized homophobia and transphobia to help clients accept who they are. I am able to help navigate gender and sexuality exploration to help my clients find out who they truly are.
As an autistic and ADHD therapist, I am aware of autism and how it can impact a person. My goal is to help my clients through a neurodivergent affirming approach to help them accept their diagnosis and find a way to integrate it into their life and find pride in it. I also help with finding coping skills to make life as an autistic individual easier.
I interned at the Children’s Advocacy Center which exposed me to cases of extreme sexual abuse. I have a passion for helping my clients identify triggers, coping skills, and provide a safe environment to explore and release past traumatic events.
As a solution focused therapist, my goal is to help you find the solutions for your problems rather than dwell on your problems. Together, we will find solutions to the difficulties you are facing so that you can live the life that you want to live.
I incorporate DBT into sessions and teach skills such as mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation. My goal is to help you discover coping skills that can help you address the difficulties of life with confidence.
