About My Clients
My ideal clients are those dealing with insecurities, self-esteem issues, depression, anxiety, or significant life changes. They value support and recognize they don’t have to face these struggles alone. Ready to engage in therapy, they seek a collaborator to guide them toward growth and self-improvement. Together, we’ll build resilience, enhance self-awareness, and cultivate the confidence to lead a more fulfilling and authentic life.
My Background and Approach
Working with me is a truly collaborative process, where we both bring our unique expertise to the table to build on your inner strengths. You are the expert on your own life, and your insights are essential as we explore your story together. My role is to guide and support you, helping to uncover hidden resources and strengths you may not even realize you have. Together, we’ll harness these discoveries, along with my counseling, to work toward a life that is authentic, fulfilling, and truly aligned with who you are. This journey is about partnership and growth, and I’m here to help you every step of the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the inherent value of every individual. In our complex and nuanced world, it’s crucial that we recognize and honor that value in ourselves and in each other. I’ve been deeply connected to the neurodiversity and disability communities for most of my life—groups that have faced significant prejudice and been consistently disenfranchised by those in power. I’ve witnessed the consequences when those with the privilege to make a difference choose to remain passive. Many of the challenges we face as individuals stem from systemic issues like racism, sexism, and poverty. While we may see significant progress in addressing these issues within our lifetime, they may not be fully eradicated. I believe that as a mental health professional, part of my role is to help individuals navigate these systemic barriers so they can still reach their full potential and find success, despite the obstacles they face.
